Dark spotting around a familiar window
Dark spotting in a Paphos window recess deserves attention without a colour-based diagnosis. Photograph the affected return, the wider window and any visible condensation from a safe position. Note whether curtains cover the area or furniture limits access. These details help describe the room rather than identify a species. If the spot has returned after repainting, keep those dates and any available before photographs with the enquiry.
Plan window-area care around occupants
A planned response explains how the material will be assessed and treated, along with any relevant moisture work. Tell us about ordinary bedroom use and whether occupants need an alternative space during the agreed work. For apartments near Kato Paphos, shared access may also need discussion. Personal symptoms belong with a clinician; the property scope should focus on visible findings, access limits and a practical follow-up at the same window location after normal use. Describe any product used previously only where you know it, without guessing from appearance.
A little more clarity
Should I remove the curtain before the window area is assessed?
Describe whether the curtain appears affected and ask about preparation first. Its handling may differ from the wall finish, and the original placement helps preserve useful room context.
